For in-depth information, please see the Defscape Minecraft Forum thread.
Defscape 64x was created to upgrade Minecraft to HD, but without being too different from the default pack. The 16x & 32x versions continue the theme with a low-res and a medium-res version.
Important note: Before installing this pack you must patch Minecraft with the latest version of MCPatcher or Optifine to stop animations on the wrong blocks, to ensure proper font rendering and for Defscape's grass and water colours to work properly!

I just downloaded/installed the 2.0 version of the texture pack. It seems fine (in 1.2.5).

Nope; I'm using 1.2.5. I downloaded them from minecraftforum.net

That means that you have an outdated version of x texture pack. That pink/purple square is what minecraft default uses to replace unused squares in texture.jpg ( i think its jpeg). Not sure why though saying this is 1.2.5. Are you using 1.3?

atypicaluser Jul 31, 2012 at 11:26 UTC - 0 likesUnfortunately, whenever I use these texture packs 16-bit, 32-bit, or 64-bit ... it doesn't matter, certain items "go pink." (For example, "wood planks" is now a pink cube.) When I use the textures in SSP (MC 1.2.5 + MCPatcher), there's no problem. I only have the problem in SMP (MC 1.2.5 + MCPather + CB 1.2.5-R5). It's a shame 'cause I love this texture pack and use it all the time!
Any idea what I might be doing wrong?
