I mean Minecraft is completely installed, yet DERP twitch just says: NOPE you have not installed minecraft, I am just going to do my own thing.
I thought I would install twitch just to get some easier access to the mods rather than do it all manually, but getting a reinstall while I already have forge and optifine installed together is a big nope for me.
Why doesn't it just install in the default .minecraft folder in appdata?
If you are using the jar launcher from twitch and are having problems loading (infinite loading screen) minecraft versions 1.14 and higher, there is an update to the legacy launcher on the Mojang site to the 1.6.93 version to fix this problem (search youtube for - update to 1.6.93, for videos showing how if needed)
I have tried both options like jar and native and nothing works because I have tried in advanced settings too to try and launch it but nothing is working and I have been trying for like three hours to resolve this issue does anyone have any other way that this problem could be fixed
Alright, for everyone who has been struggling to get this going, I have a simple fix.
If you have already switched from native to jar, do that. You can do it by clicking your avatar in the top right and going to settings. Go to Minecraft, then scroll down and switch it.
Now make a folder, and you can name it anything. Now go the advanced install settings, and select this folder and press install. The problem was you never had a twitch folder to send minecraft too.
Hope this helped :) (also upvote this so people see it)
I downloaded minecraft apk from here, thanks
Can anyone tell me why this is still an issue?

Even when I change my launcher from native to .jar, it still doesn't work...
