I am trying to test some mods that are currently only in 1.12.2, but even without mods the game crashes due to some weird thing about an absence of an ocelot setting.
RuntimeException: java.lang.RuntimeException: Patcher expecting non-empty class data file for net.minecraft.entity.passive.EntityOcelot, but received empty, your vanilla jar may be corrupt.
I'm somewhat new to modding, but I'm fairly certain I haven't messed with anything that would cause this. Any ideas?
I have figure out the way to fix this problem. In the curseforge app, the thing that is causing the ocelot to not appear is your game location/ where the directory is. If you change the directory to something like C:\Users\[user]\curseforge\.minecraft. This is what I have tried, but the things that work for me might not work for you.
P.S. The changing of the directory will erase the other modpacks/projects on it.
P.S.S this link is for more support help if you need it
Umm there is an even easier fix for this.. Beside the +Create Custom Profile button there are 3 vertical dots, Click this > then Click Repair Installation > this will reinstall the Install folder (not where your packs are saved).
