So i just recently got back into playing MC after a few months of not playing and decieded i wanted to check out a few of the mod packs for 1.15, however anytime i try to install a mod pack on the twitch launcher i get the message "No java executable found. Cannot execute post-installation tasks for forge." It then just has an ok button and closes the installation for it. when i download the pack from the website i get mod files but no launchable .exe or anything in the files to let me actually play. for 1.12 and 1.14 packs this does not happen. am i missing something that should be there or are the packs just not downoading part of it for me?
me too. If we post here will someone from curseforge see it and tell us or do we wait for some random nice, smart person to stumble upon it and tell us what to do?
I have used these tricks and none have worked to fix the issue. I can run vanilla minecraft just fine, but not mods. I have uninstalled and redownloaded the curseforge app a few times, rebooted the computer, attempted to update java, but they say I have the most up to date version. Any ideas?

In reply to Towkn:
hi, have you figured this out yet?
i figured it out, you need to install java and then try to download it again
In reply to Caledsa_Cal:
I already have Java though, it still won't work
In reply to Towkn:
I believe I found a fix is you are still having the issue just go to into file explorer
This PC > Local Disk > User > (whatever your user name is) > Documents
then find twitch and delete the whole folder or at least the minecraft folder inside it then open curse and have it make another one.

Don't forget to run minecraft first before trying to download something as it may need to update its own files.

What if their is not a twitch folder? And does it work on Mac?
I hope this might help someone in the future.
For me the solution was:
1. Install CurseForge.
2. Run Vanilla minecraft using CurseForge.
3. Install the modpack.
4. Play the modpack

In reply to bishfngrs:
go to the curseforge App > go to settings > then click minecraft settings >
scroll down and look at "Java version used for installing Forge modloader" >
find java in your files > select it
You can reinstall it and save it to a different location if you cannot find your java file.
This is what worked for me :)
