Been trying to figure this one out myself. It seems that the forge 1.16.1 packs are not populating the correct forge jar files if the pack runs forge version 32.0.108. I found this by going to "Settings" on the Minecraft Launcher and checking the box for "Open output log when games start". I'm not sure where the best place to report this is, because it happens with EVERY 1.16.1 pack
Failed to find Minecraft resource version 1.16.1-20200625.160719 at C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft\Install\libraries\net\minecraftforge\forge\1.16.1-32.0.108\forge-1.16.1-32.0.108-client.jar
It happens with any mods, or if you set modfolder wrong. I keep having this issue with latest as well I assumed I could fix it but even without mods it has it.
I've been here before with a different issue I couldn't fix, so I decided to start from scratch recently.
I'm using 1.16.1, with forge version 32.0.108, and it keeps crashing with the message:
"The game crashed whilst initializing game Error: java.lang.IllegalStateException: GLFW error before init: [0x10008]Win32: Failed to create interface"
I've searched all over google, and all the threads I found with this message are either dead ends or for different issues.
The issue suddenly appeared a day after I installed forge, and I've tested it without all the mods, and it still crashes with the same message.

In reply to djromrell:
Yeah, I just gave up troubleshooting and starting using a different modpack launcher.
In reply to DruunkTank:
Short-term good Idea but they are working on it.
