twitch removed the minecraft mod option, so now I cant switch to java 8, curseforge doesn't let me switch from native java so Im stuck gettin this message
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM warning: Ignoring option PermSize; support was removed in 8.0 Exception in thread "main" java.lang.ClassCastException: class jdk.internal.loader.ClassLoaders$AppClassLoader cannot be cast to class java.net.URLClassLoader (jdk.internal.loader.ClassLoaders$AppClassLoader and java.net.URLClassLoader are in module java.base of loader 'bootstrap') at net.minecraft.launchwrapper.Launch.<init>(Launch.java:34) at net.minecraft.launchwrapper.Launch.main(Launch.java:28)
When I downloaded it and opened it in my finder, I dragged it out onto my desktop and then I double-clicked on it to open it but literally, nothing happened and it's frustrating me so bad.
First once you launched it if it doesnt greet you with the allow or deny go to settings - Security and Firewall or what ever its called i forgot on general/firewall i dont remember it should be there asking to be allowed allow it then go back to the jar file and launch it if you dont have java in your mac how it comes with it
i couldn't start the app,
always show me messages like below:
Oops, that was not supposed to happen! seems like we could not load CurseForge. Let's try this one more time.
and i tried again and again. nothing else happened.
I have the same issue!
