 i have kida the same thing but there are two buttons right one says install only on some mods i hit install it works but if i hit download it will download but it has a red box shows up idk its hard

I have a solution! If you're the admin account on your device, it seems right clicking the installer and selecting "Run As Administrator" should do the trick.

i wanna make a content on my small channel which for the content is to downlaod rlcraft and play it at minecraft, the problem is twitch has a new system to download mods on curseforge overwolf now so i wanna download it but if i press the "Download for Windows" it will give me a loop of download and not telling how long the download process will end

I had the same problem.

I noticed i had some unfinished downloads in the folder.
Probably from preiviuos cancelled download.
By deleting thoose and installers and by succefully downloading the instaler on first attempt the installer worked.

When i allow it to make changes to my device nothing happens not a thing

A couple things here before we start: 

 

If your on Windows7 (or 8): The CF & OW apps no longer support this version. 

 

Now that that's out of the way..

 

Windows: 

If you on Windows 10 or 11, Try this Download link 

If that still fails to download, try the Alternative Link 

then use the OW app store to download the CF app

 

Mac: 
Mac users try this Download Link

 

Linux: 

Lastly, If your on Linux and trying to install the CF app, due note that it is only for the game World Of Warcraft at the moment. It does not work for Minecraft Yet*

 

 

Extras: 
If you tried all this for the OS your on and it is still failing to download, then It's possible that either your internet connection is having issues OR something on your PC is blocking it, Firewall, Antivirus, or even ISP.
