You can get it back by extending the window size till you reach the bottom of your screen, this will "full screen" the window and you'll be able to get it down.
Or you could press windows+right or windows+left, which will do the same.
This can help but it would be great to have a patch eventually.
I fixed this by ensuring the top of my dual screens line up in display settings. If you line up your displays at the bottom then curse opens off screen.
Thanks for the suggestions but non of these worked for me so far... I have two ultrawide monitors, they are stacked up horizontally, bottom is 38' top is 34'.
Just managed to fix this playing around with where the displays are. I originally tried stacking them horizontally which didn't work. Instead, stack them vertically. In my case, the window was hidden above my left monitor. I moved this monitor so it is below my right monitor which made the window visible. Hope this helps.
Would like to add that I too am having this issue and none of the fixes work permanently between pc boots. I have noticed that there is no window Title right menu. Right click on the top bar of Curseforge client, nothing happens, right click on Discord window title for example and a menu appears with Restore, move, size, Minimize, Maximize. These options are important when the window open offscreen as you can use the keyboard to access this menu. One work around is to right click on task bar cascade windows, the other is to change to portrait mode on the monitor and click on revert in display settings
You have to right click on the icon on your task bar, right click on the name of the app, open properties, and in properties, change "Run:", to Maximize.
This is very annoying, no other app does this including javascript apps like Discord or Twitch...
The same happens to me

Thanks, that fixed it for me.
This is a combination of two bugs:
These should both be very easy fixes.

How they managed to create this issue baffles me. It's a shame the Twitch app doesn't have the mod manager any more.

I had this same problem and this fix has worked well for me on windows 10. You can follow this guide to force curse to open in full screen.

This has worked well for me
