My friend and I recently bought ourselves a small server to play Enigmatica 2 Expert Skyblock there. The first 3-4 days were fine. I never had a really good ping (always around 50-120ms) but it was good enough to play such a modpack without any problems. Some day i joined and couldn't interact with anything. I checked discord for my ping and it was around 70. I disconnected to check in the Mulitplayer tab and it said I had a similar ping to the server. When i rejoined I had a good ping for around 20 seconds and then it suddenly changed back to not working at all. I still were able to talk normally via discord so my real ping wasn't high at all. It appears that this problem was only bound to minecraft. I played a few games of bedwars to check if it was for minecraft overall or just for this specific modpack and it turned out that this problem seemed to only appear when playing this specific modpack. Since that day i did not have a day where I wouldn't lag for a minimum of half an hour (laggy ping should be around >5k because when i tried to open chests it took a minimum of 5 seconds, most of the times way long up to a minute or till i timed out)
I don't really know what's wrong. I googled a bit but did not find any answers that stopped this problem from appearing. Maybe someone of you knows any fix for this.
Hello i have the same problem, i noticed when this problem starts. When you use a lot of Machines that require energy, the ping rises to 10k, and when you break everything, the ping immediately becomes normal. What launcher do you use?
Hello,

In regards, Ben!
Hello i have the same problem, i noticed when this problem starts. When you use a lot of Machines that require energy, the ping rises to 10k, and when you break everything, the ping immediately becomes normal. What launcher do you use?
Found what's wrong.
Your PC unable to handle such amount of updates per tick, then can't normally send network packets
due to overload, because minecraft able to use only one CPU core
Usually one or two mods create these problems, especially multiblocks and some types of pipes.
So, you need better CPU and motherboard.
