Me too. I came back after a few weeks, and it's suddenly broken.
Can run Vanilla Minecraft both through Vanilla launcher or "Run vanilla minecraft" button from the curseforge app, but can't run the Forge one. Can't run it from a freshly created new profile with no mods at all.
My mod loader was 45.0.43, so I bumped it up to 45.0.49 but that doesn't work.
Tried uninstalling Java (I only had SDE), Vanilla minecraft at `C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft`, tried reinstalling CurseForge.
Vanilla Minecraft runs without having to reinstall Java.
Hey! So I ran into the same problem with the modpack ATM 8 and I was able to figure out a solution that at least worked for myself as well as one of my friends that were having the same issue.
Both myself and my buddy have AMD graphics cards and Windows kind of sucks at reliably updating those drivers so if you go to their site and install/update the drivers for the AMD graphics series that you need that worked for us as well. If you don't have an AMD graphics card then I would still try and update whatever version you need, as from what I have seen that seemed to work for others as well!
Here I have linked the sites for the Graphics drivers for the different potential Graphics cards.\
Another solution to try is configuring windows to allow the custom curseforge minecraft launcher to use the dedicated graphics / high performance graphics.
You can do this in win 11 pressing win + i to open win settings and then go to Display > Graphics. Click in the Browse button and select the curseforge minecraft launcher (normally at C:\Users\YOURUSER\AppData\Roaming\CurseForge\Install) then find it in the list click on it and set the profile to high performance
