Whenever I launch minecraft from curseforge, the launcher opens with a grey screen but things are still clickable. Using the regular launcher, everything loads normally but I don't have my modded profiles. Any fixes?
Not even "rude", just don't like idiocity. "Hey, I might know what the solution would be, so I give you a riddle instead of the actual fix!". Just straight up idiocity.

I have searched far and wide and have found the answer. Go into your settings and open some of em java .jar apps. Fixed mine!

What the hell does that even mean? It's like when a drunk guy comes to you and says "Hey, you see that door? I have a dollar, lemme get a tissue!"...
If you "have an answer", atleast provide something that everyone can understand, not gibberish stuff like "open some of em java .jar apps :drunk: "

lol if you had been nice instead I could have helped you with better words but instead i'll just wish you luck :)
here's a friendly reminder if you're having difficulty speaking to others online:
THINK before you speak!
T: is it True?
H: is it Helpful?
I: is it Inspiring?
N: is it Necessary?
K: is it Kind?
Kind regards,

where are the .jar files at
In reply to notdannayy:
I just had this issue and I went into Geforce disabled the in-game overlay and it came back.
I also made sure to repair the files before hand just incase.

Love that you're with holding information that might/might not help others just cuz one person was rude to you.
Splitting image of a mother saying "now no one gets a turn". 👎

No need to tell me, you just act like a hurt child. Since you're unwilling to ACTUALLY help the community:
turning off the overlay as another commenter mentioned, fixed it.
And next time if you **ACTUALLY** want to assist someone with a problem, stop acting like a hurt child and actually be useful. 10/10 idiocity...

Sorry for the slow reply!
Mine are in my main drive under my users files.
C>Users>User>curseforge>minecraft>Install>librairies>net>minecraft>client>1.18.2-20220404.173914
and honestly after that i just double clicked on all of them to ''Run'' them and it started working.
Hope it works!!
For me, the solution was to disable the Geforce Experience overlay.
I opened Geforce Experience, went to Options and looked for In-Game Overlay and disabled it. I opened the Launcher again and it worked.
I hope this method works for you all too!
