Hey there everyone, this is my first attempt at putting a custom modpack onto a server for me and my friends to play. I assembled the modpack and it works great client side (Horrorcraft), and I rented a server from Akliz which allows me to upload custom modpacks to use. But I just can't get it to work, I follow the instructions I can find, try to assemble a server file and install Forge onto the server, but it just crashes and shuts down the server. I can't figure out what I am doing wrong.
Included below is the crash report, I am terrible at making sense of these things. If anyone can help me figure out what is going wrong it would be greatly appreciated.
Have u made sure that you haven’t put any client based mods into it. I’m pretty new to modpacks and servers as well, but I know a big thing I’ve heard is that you can’t have client based mods like mini map mods.
I'm not using NEI, but through process of elimination it looks like Thaumcraft 6 and Ghostly were both interfering with the world spawn, Thaumcraft in particular was keeping world chunks from saving.
Yeah, I ended up removing it too, along with Ice and Fire. Both of them were causing severe worldgen lag and bogging down the performance of the server.
If Thaumcraft 6 is giving you problems (it did me too), give the Server Operator (the client if local host. The Computer if Online/public hosting using a minceraft server file.) More RAM. for client side ram go to launch options and click JVM arguments and type -Xmn#G (replace the # with minimum Ram allowed) and -Xmx#G (for Maximum Ram Allowed). so i usually do [-Xmx5G -Xmn3G] this means i have between 3-5 Gigabytes of memory at a time. This Reduces Lag Greatly while also helping with World Generation.
We are running a 6GB server, the issue was Thaumcraft 6 was messing with world generation and preventing chunks from saving, thus making the server crash upon trying to load.

Yeah, I made that mistake initially and accidentally left some client based mods in there, but I am still having a problem after I removed them.
If you Have NEI, Make sure you took out CodeChickenCore.

Orespawn is very buggy

EDIT: I don't remember how to do Server Side Ram.
