I am trying to get a modpack started and I sent in a request to have it accepted today, but the problem is it was denied saying that dbc is a non curse mod along with jrmcore which goes with it. The problem with going out and getting permission of use from the creator is well quite a major one. The creator of the mod is dead and if you download the mod from the website you can see if you open a single player world it even says so. The message was put there by his brother from what iv heard. So what am I to do with this problem? Just drop my entire mod pack cause this is the main mod surrounding it? Or will I be allowed to use the mod?

All mods need to be on CurseForge or the approved 3rd Party mods list. Try submitting it to the 3rd Party list if it is free to use.
