Essentially what the Title says, I've exported my Modpack to share with a friend so we could test it out together, however, when attempting to import it just closes the window and nothing happens on neither of our clients?
What modpack/version of Minecraft/mods. It does seem strange for it to do that. Do you have a lot of modpacks on your client at all. Just considering any factors really even if they can seem unrelated.

I sometimes create the odd modpack or adventure map once an idea comes together.
If i don't combine the Config's it seems to work, However, once adding the configs it just doesn't add the profiles to others clients. I didn't combine any of the configs i didn't edit and it seems to work? Just seems really odd that its doing that
its for 1.12.2 Everything works once i allow others to install it without configs, twitch just seems to be having odd interactions with it
I'd say narrow done the configs to see what mod it's coming from of the options you have edited that's different, I don't really know what to say since I've never come across this before besides mods that do have configs I forget to change that I know have particular features on by default that change things but can be made easier for players.

I have had a few issues with the launcher regarding downloading packs (creating new ones is fine and I think importing) and newer versions above 1.12.2 can be awkward sometimes so I'll take a look.

When my friend tries to import the modpack I created and exported it doesn't do anything. I double-click on the zip and that window closes and leaving the Twitch app open on the computer; but nothing happens. No modpacks show up under My Modpacks. I included the config folder, the mods folder, and the scripts folder when I did the export. Any thoughts?
The overrides folder is what makes it different than the default mod packs. I have put a lot of work into tweaking the mods in the list so that they work the way I want them to. Deleting the overrides folder would remove all of that work. Any other thoughts?
Hello! I am trying to send a friend a copy of a custom modpack. When they import it following the directions on the site, it does not show up and load. When I do it using the zip file it works just fine. They are on a mac if that makes any difference.
Modpack importing will work fine if you use the Curseforge launcher exporting feature.
As long as the modpack exported file has a manifest and modlist file inside it will be fine.
That or if there is a conflict with a mod that isn't loading or has other issues which can happen which is why I couldn't have a modpack approved sometimes and just had to remove it/sort it out.
If they have the Curseforge or MultiMC launchers to import it they will be fine to import the zip file. I don't recommend just copying the mods folder of the Curseforge instance.
Otherwise if you can show some screenshots or anything else that could show the problem that would be great.

same
Delete the overrides folder, for some reason twitch doesn't like changes to the config files
