The Xray Ultimate texture pack has a resolution of 16 × 16, so it probably won't cause a drop in performance. The pack works great without Optifine , but we highly recommend using it as it provides a much needed night vision effect.
My friends and I are trying to do an x ray challenge where we can only use x ray, but none of us want to get a virus from a fake texture pack. Does anyone know any safe x ray texture packs?

The one right off of Curse forge is safe to use but its recommend to use optifine with it

This does work with most versions I've used it for 1.12.2 before so i would assume it would work with pretty much any
