Projects cant be Distributed if the license says users dont have permission, at that point you would have to ask the author but in this case the MIT license specifically states that users are allowed to distribute, modify, publish, copy, use, merge, sublicense, or sell copies of the mod the mod so how can it not be legal.
The problem might come from making money from the curse points obtained when people download the project... Considering many major modpacks have that mod, its download count will sky rocket, generating alot of curse points....
Doesnt matter now though, Curse has taken the project down.
Despite EB being nice enough to list his mod under MIT so that people may freely use it and learn off of the code, Curse also reserves the right to deny a project for any reason.

I am NOT the mod author of this project if you need help go to http://big-reactors.com/
Big Reactors is under MIT license so according to it I have permission to have this mod posted on here so it is not here unauthorized http://gyazo.com/10527a79df6fec91d7f38670605ba207

From what I see in the License it does say that anyone has permission to Distribute or Publish the mod so i dont see whats the problem with it
