I am getting killed by one mod of my selfmade modpack. Everytime I mine coal I see particles an the I get certain effects that leads to death with the notice "Player gave his life to the coal mines"! Very anoying tried to search in the log, but I did only find the death notice, but not the mod causing it.
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing difficulties with your modpack. It can be frustrating when you encounter unexpected issues like this. While I may not have access to the specific information about your modpack or the mods you've included, I can offer you some general advice on how to troubleshoot the problem.
Review the mod list: Check the list of mods you have installed in your modpack. Look for any mods that modify mining, resources, or player effects. Try to identify any mods that could potentially be causing the issue.
Research mod features: Once you have identified the mods that could be related to the problem, research their features and effects. Visit the mod pages or forums for each mod and see if any of them mention anything about coal mining, particles, or player effects that could lead to death.
Check mod configuration files: Many mods include configuration files that allow you to customize their behavior. Look for any configuration files related to the mods you suspect might be causing the issue. Check for any options or settings that could be responsible for the unwanted effects you're experiencing.
Disable mods temporarily: If you still haven't found the culprit, you can try disabling mods one by one (or in small groups) and testing the game each time. By process of elimination, you may be able to pinpoint the specific mod causing the problem.
Seek help from the modding community and marketing tips: If you're unable to find a solution on your own, consider reaching out to the modding community for assistance. Many mod developers and experienced players are active on forums, Discord servers, or Reddit communities dedicated to modded Minecraft. They may be able to provide guidance or offer specific knowledge about the mods you're using.
Remember to always back up your world and modpack before making any changes, as troubleshooting may involve altering or removing mods. This will help ensure that you can revert to a previous state if needed.
Good luck with your troubleshooting, and I hope you're able to identify and resolve the issue soon!

Can you mention what mods did you use in your pack?
