Since darkhax will possibly abandon the user-oriented features of Bookshelf, I really hope someone makes a mod to override Minecraft's attribute caps. I don't see any reason for them in the first place, but Mojang decided to limit them anyways.
Bookshelf was the go-to mod for this until the 1.12.1 version of the mod which does not include the user-oriented features. Since there is no other mod for this, I hope someone will make a mod to replace this functionality.
