So I was going to play some forever stranded with a friend until this error message popped up. I've uninstalled Java 9 and have installed Java 8 yet the same message appears.

I am having the same problem! But I don't know how to enter my launch options on Java, so how do I do this? Please help, thanks.

Hi I had this same issue and I was flipping out trying to figure out why it kept giving that error. I'm running SevTech: Ages 3.1.1 and the problem for me was that I was using Java 11 and it seems that these modpack servers are incompatible with every other Java Version that's not Java 8.

I've tried uninstalling my Java to get Java 8 but that hadn't worked either. Im not sure what to do now. Thanks for the help though.
It also comes up with the permsize log as well and its annoying as it always use to work.

Having the same issue trying to play modpacks. Anyone got the solution yet?
