hi im trying to make a "Celestial Collector Crystal" with astral sorcery, but the recipe says i need an "Attuned Celestial Crystal". How do i get it without using constellations and an attunement altar? In the quest book the celestial collector crystal is made BEFORE i get access to Constellations, and also the JEI says the Attunement Altar is "disabled". So is there another way to get it?
I don't know if it is still possible since recipe has changed so much but by the time I had access to nether, i was able to build automate mob farm with mob smasher from mob grinding util and vector plate(sugar from witch with a water dropdown + spikes = automate mob farm in overworld) So i don't have to attack them manually.
Or you can always try to slab everything except spawning platform and make it so you can only see their feet and they can't see you. So they can't attack back.
Silly Question... But i'm stuck... On which page in the quest book is the Steel Quest. I can't seem to find it. I'm not sure what I need to complete it other and steel and I can't progress in the other quests without it.

thats how you make a normal collector crystal, the celestial are the blue ones and they dont work with the laser. the normal way would be with the attunement altar, but it says its disabled and i dont want to make over 200 marble blocks just to "test" if its working ;). but thanks
Is it just me or is the new update bugged atm??? I'm at the part where i need an in empower but to unlock the Atomic Reconstructor quest you need to have the Mana Items quest from (VM) to unlock. So i start following the chain down and it tells me I need to do Chrome (MR) quest and the Sugarcanes (MR). First off I can't do Chrome (MR) quest since alchemical chrome requires you to have x2 Dark matter, but to get Dark matter you need to have an empower first. Same thing with the Sugarcanes (MR) one you need to have Starlight Infuser (AMM) but then you follow that chain and to unlock all of it you need to start off with High Res Crystals (AMM) witch requires you to have the Empowerer (UA) quest done. Since you can't do Empowerer (UA) without the Atomic Reconstructor (UA) quest I'm pretty much at a stand still at this point. Unless someone can help me. Now i don't know if i overlooked a quest line or something like that but i'm pretty sure it's impossible for me to progress at this point. If anyone can help or look into this and let me know with a reply, I would highly appreciate it.
Why do you need chrome to make the Atomic Reconstructor? 6 steel + iron casing + lens + resonating redstone crystal, that the recipe I have.
Alchemical chrome requires sugar+2lapis or 1 chrome dust + lapis. If you have a lot of crushed stone, you have a chance to gain chrome dust from it, make chrome ingot ->chrome dust-> ingot -> dust->...
I have a question about Vacuum Freezer, is it work at all? I tried it as multiblock construction as says in Ftb wiki page, it doesn't work. And I tried it as 1block machine, doesn't work as well. If someone has a working sample please say how to make it work.
Next question is 'Gelid' bees, they produces only combs, is that on purpose or I need something to do with them to make them produce cryotheum dust?
Edit:: I've updated to 2.7.0.2 version and Vacuum Freezer is works there. Thanks! Bees still produce only combs.
Has anyone tried to make cobalt since the latest update 2.7.0.2? In JEI the recipe shows as lapis + 2 lapis in the alchemical fusion table. I can't figure out the proper combination to make it actually work. Is that the intended recipe?
I have and I figured out that if you only put in the 1 lapis on the left and the 2 on the right, it will use 1 lapis from each slot and make 1 batch of it depending on your alchemical dust level, I can't put stacks in but I was able to get the little cobalt I needed this way
I am having trouble getting magnesium alchemical ore dust, in JEI the recipe is enriched bonemeal and 2 glowstone, but this is also the recipes for aluminum and it always comes out as aluminum.
OK, I finally got it to work. Don't know if anyone else is as clueless as I was, but the recipe is EXACTLY as described. 1 slot with 1 lapis, 1 slot with at least 2. I had to put the lapis in the 1st slot by hand one at a time, if I had 2 slots with 2+ lapis nothing worked.
Anyone gotten the Smart Combustion Controller to work? In the "G" key guide, it says to replace one of the 4 side blocks with it. Then put the item you want to craft in the controller filter. It should craft once per second according to the guide.
So:
1. I put the controller on one side(opposite the collector)
2. I put redstone in the leftmost slot of the controller as that's what I want to craft
3. I drop 2 blaze powder and 2 gunpowder into the multiblock via quick dropper.
4. Wait...
5. Nothing happens.
I thought maybe I had misinterpreted, so I also tried putting 2 blaze powder and 2 gunpowder into the controller. Nothing still... I tried giving the controller a redstone signal. Nothing. When I give the combustion heater block a redstone signal via redstone clock, it crafts as normal. Meaning, if I drop gunpowder in first, it will craft blaze powder instead of waiting for me to drop blaze powder in. I'm at a loss. If anyone has gotten it to work, please post a picture or at the very least some well worded instructions. Thanks.
I don't need chrome to make the Atomic Reconstructor. It just requires that quest to unlock the atomic reconstructor if you follow the long quest line that needed. My chrome alchemical dust recipie is : like one sugar and 2 dark matter. Although there is a new update today so hopefully that fixes it.
The version I played was 2.4 where quests were not bound. I've just updated tto 2.7.0.2 and have a lot of problem with all my progress, because there are a lot of crafting tasks which doesn't want to detect already crafted items. Besides, immigration from Apply Lamargistic to Apply Energetic cause all patterns and fluid parts gone. But I really glad because now modpack has 'Wireless crafting terminal' , but IT IS NOT CRAFTABLE!!!!
And the most unpleasant thing with update, that I already have all ingredients to craft all dark matter blocks for ender portal and now there is a new ingredient - 'black alabaster'. This black alabaster can be obtain only with void miner ( void miner 1 has biggest chance so I used it) , so, I've gave it whole night to generate it, and I still don't have even one. I thing there is something wrong with alabaster generation.
