Ok bug report. 'perfectspawn.json' needs to be renamed to 'PerfectSpawn.json'. On Linux filenames are case sensitive and the mod expects it to be called 'PerfectSpawn.json' with the P and S capitalized.
I'm not sure why but when I start the map I'm ending up with at least two to five mobs already spawned in one of the rooms on the second floor. Had to reset the map at least twice after having a creeper blow up a section of the base and all I did was before I found them was put half of the books I had on my hot bar into the chest that is right next to me when I start the map.
The blue room downstairs seems to continually spawn "a" mob til one puts more lighting in there. Wailia says it is lit just fine and there are no x's for spawn but still things spawn. Might be height of ceiling, my aggressive mob problem was solved by putting down 2 more lights (used glass from elsewhere)
I put a few more down in places that looked visually dark even though they were reporting as being lit.
I do know if they are below and in the far blue room they kinda stay there if all you do is go to the green room and work for a bit. Then they despawn.
I re-installed the mod again, same problems, decided to open up the directory and copy all the files to the regular minecraft launcher, didn't get that error but froze up on me while it went through the 2nd phase of mission textures (I think it was the 2nd wave). I tried another mod pack, same problem as DJL but i then tried another, it worked fine. might be bad downloads again or something else, will try to re-install again one final time, if that doesn't work, will wait until next version/update.
I don't know if this is intentional or not but in the blue room mobs will occasionally spawn. I've had one creeper and two spiders so far. Very handy because that gives me access to some stuff I need :-)
Note on mob drop spawners. Make sure your ceiling is two tall. There seems to be a spawn issue if the ceiling is dripping.
I didn't make a drop spawner, just a simple one like you would make firstly on a Skyblock with wood, but I am getting barely any spawns. The height is fine that an Enderman would spawn and fit and all the base blocks have a red X that F7 shows. I have been afking away from the spawner the required number of blocks and going to check, but still only getting one, maybe two spawns.
I'm struggling getting this to work with MultiMC too.
I did the following (in order):
(a) Created a new 1.7.10 instance
(b) Added forge
(c) changed memory settings in it (increased base, max and permagen)
(d) copied all the folders (and their contents) from the DDJ Zip file into the minecraft folder
run
When I did this using the latest Forge 10.13.3.1395 the game loaded but there was no text on the buttons etc - just blank (i.e. I couldn't tell what to press to make a new world).
When I did this using Forge 10.13.3.1355 I had a crash on load - MFR failed to load textures
Im hoping that I just need to use the right Forge version and things will work - does anyone know what forge version to use?

First make sure the ceiling isn't dripping. If you made it 1 thick it won't spawn due to the water falling. That's the only thing I could figure out. I had no spawns when the ceiling dripped water, I got some when I put another layer on top.
second I find you have to build out or up of the base itself. Make sure it is in an area you aren't hanging around in otherwise. I ended up putting my drop off the blue room. I still had to move it 25 out before I could get any drops. It is easy to get turned around in the base and forget you are above a room or below a different room. The large domes being made of lit glass doesn't help either. Just something to plan around.
In other words I have this huge narrow room at the top of my drop. Thank goodness for conveyor belts. On the other hand it will be easy to tear down later if/when I do blood magic and need a "real" spawning. For now the 5 or six I get when I am on the other side of the base is enough.
One bug report - I got a crash after a few minutes of reading one of the books I got when I entered the world. It was an error rendering Item. I dunno what item it was talking about, but I'll post the crash report and you can figure it out.

hahah yes if running on Server it needs to be in the minecraft folder.
Thanks for the heads up Mcjty I will be sure to rename it for Linux systems

Try downloading the zip files in the description.

I have heard that carpenters blocks with glowstone added sometimes fail to count as light. This might be why mobs are appearing.
NEI is showing Induction Smelter / Fluid Transposer recipes for making all of the bee hives except for Rocky. Is there something I'm missing?

Not originally intended but Hey..think of it as an unintended feature.

Is there an install guide for this map for MultiMC?

lol - can you believe I just got it working - using Forge version 10.13.2.1291 did the trick :) yay!
Oh - Just noticed that the link to the Zip file on the project site includes the forge version:
"Zip file v 0.6.2c download using Forge 1351 for those on Mac or Linux is here"
I will change to that version now and start playing - really excited about this map :) I'm a Mac user by the way :)
