I have two machines setup about a month ago working just fine with the beta curse voice client. This weekend I tried to add a 3rd but no dice, same errors as the others have reported here no matter what I tried. I just ended up building a stand alone installation and that worked like a charm. Basically you have to run vanilla Minecraft once, in a separate folder from your main vanilla, then install forge, as per the wiki instructions then unzip the mod pack into the folder and it works fine.
If anyone is having trouble getting started in this pack watch some of the Agrarian Skies videos others have posted. Since this map starts off with the Ex Astris and Ex Nihilo mods.
Tip: If you need water in a barrel and are not having luck getting a bottle fishing or don't want to do that, punch a hole in the ceiling of your base somewhere and plug the hole with barrels. As long as there is nothing but transparent blocks between a barrel and the sky (in this case water) it will fill with water when it rains. So if you structure it right wait and you'll have water, then you can put your dust in there for the clay to create your crucible and make your first bucket of lava. Strange right? 200 blocks below the surface and rain will fill your barrels still.
Also can we get a sieve recipe for Slimy Saplings? I'd like to get a slimeball so I can make the OpenBlocks sponge, but there is no method to acquiring them short of expanding around and hoping i hit a slime chunk.
Also not sure if this is a bug but Iron/Gold Ore Reeds from B0b's Growable Ores smelt to a 1:1ingot ratio in the alloy smelter(blue power). Not that I'm really complaining, growing 8 for just one of nearly everything else is tedious. Maybe instead the Ore Reeds could craft into ore dust? That way 4 will turn into one ore dust block which will equal 2 ingots in the smeltery. Diamond and Emerald however, well probably good the way they are. Now I just got to figure out how to automate the growable ores. (edit: planters seem to do the trick.)
Perhaps to make it easier for us to turn those reeds into metals, could you consider giving them smeltery values? Like say 8 copper ore reeds turn into one copper ingot which equals 144mb of molten copper, so perhaps a single copper ore reed in the smeltery will turn into 18mb of molten copper? Similar approach for Iron, Gold, Tin, Aluminum, Ardite... basically any ore that has a molten equivalent. This would make it loads easier to create a metal production system, removing most of an automatic crafting system (since the Auto Packager doesn't have a donut crafting recipe)
Relocator from Refined Relocation and Iron construction Block from Mariculture share the same recipe. The relocator pipe recipe is the only one you can craft and I need Iron Contruction Blocks.
No way I can find to get Lilypads (gotta get me my Lilypads of Fertility, but need the originals first) I can't remember but there's a possibility that a Water bee hive can create them, but I think it requires one as a flower to begin with.

You can get lilys from the MFR Fisher as demonstrated in my latest DJL video
Ok I have no clue why it crashes for some but not others. I guess I will possibly look into removing OC and OL someone with the crash, verify if this fixes it?
OC and OL? Sorry, not good with abbreviations.
OpenComputers and OpenLights, just throw them away into recycle bin, or perhaps update to newest modpack version released today

Tedy can easily change around one of those recipes using Minetweaker, or perhaps you can if you need to do so immediately, it is not very difficult. The lily pads (vanilla) drop from both Mariculture and MineFactory Reloaded fishers.

Slimy sapling already drops from sieving dirt (i think, or sand, can't remember, check NEI) , and as far as the ore reeds go, i am using cyclic assemblers to autocraft the ore reeds straight into ingots, this makes for a snappy production line straight into my AE setup, so I do not personally see the need to go all out adding all kinds of values and furnace/alloy smelter recipes that are not necessary, Tedy may disagree with this opinion, I do not know off hand.

hey dude i thought it would be cool if there was like a pressure system when swimming deep and stuff so if u wanted to get to the surface u had to use a sub from like oceancraft or something and there would be floating islands and stuff up there
So how does one go about cheating in a quest book? and is there default things or would I have to customize it, which would defeat the purpose because I have no idea what's in the pack haha
i find the pack is a bit unbalanced and more grind then fun.
been playing the pack over 10 hrs straight and got a patch of grass over near my mob farm and no animals have spawned.
growable ores? really sad mod why not use magical crops mod its got a addon mod that allows interactions between it and mfr. or better yet you could simply give us iron chests so we can set up automated setup easyer for the sieve and remove growable ores since we got ex astris we can set up a autosieve wich works 100x faster even without upgrades.
botania, witchery, agricraft would all be good additions. only hard part of botania would be getting mana cause the early flowers need skyview
botania gives a method of getting lillypads wich can be used to get lillypad of fertility to boost crop growth speed making farming ores less pointless.
ae2 stuff would also be nice cause it adds faster machines for 2 of the real time killers in it.
I hope everyone is enjoying the pack and would love to hear any feedback, Constructive criticism, and general ideas on the pack. I have more in store in a future iteration of the modpack which will be quest driven using a new set of quest mods.
Thanks everyone for trying out the modpack and I am super excited for future projects.
Got a Sacred Rubber Sapling (615:1) in a treasure bag.
I planted it.
The room I planted it in became an invisible maze that I might not survive getting myself out of, because it won't let me jump up, it won't let me go up the ramp, every time I break a block, the next chunk of wood appears. :P
I logged out, and logged back in and the logs became visible. :-) Repairing the room is going to take time.

I've had to opt into the Alpha version of the client to see other packs, might have to try that for folks having problems

Alloy Furnace from blue power smelts most of the reeds directly into ingots ;) I can look into adding them to the smeltery
Oh, ok. I'll look into that.

Hanging in there, making mass lava production!

Open to LAN go into the inventory hit Options and turn on cheat mode and search for simple achievements. That book

Great Job On The Pack *
*I Have Never Played The Pack LoL!
Wow. Big Bug.

Sooooo... I don't think that one was so much a bug as a piece of advice. Wait till you are in the next world to plant sacred rubber trees. ^_^
