I recently created a modpack for some friends and family, I got it approved through curseforge but it isnt showing up on twitch modpack search do I have to do anything else to get it on twitch??
It usually takes a while for the Twitch client to show new modpacks and/or modpack updates. However, if they restart their Twitch clients it might display right away. It has worked for me before.
At the time I've posted this comment it probably already showed up, didn't it?
In reply to liveFredrik:
Sadly it still hasnt popped up ha I just checked the twitch app
In reply to Guardianugarus:
Are any settings set to not show the modpack? What's the name of the modpack?
I can check if there are settings that are doing that but The name is Finem Ludum
It looks like the only thing that i can see is that the source code is not publicly available
But the only other options popping up are Github, Bitbucket, and other
I found the problem. The modpacks file is set to the type "Alpha". I am pretty sure that if you change the type to "Release" it will soon be available on the Twitch client.
Oooh ok, how would I change it to release?
Wait I figured it out haha ok well hopefully this helps! thank you ill let you know if it does anything
Hey there we go! Its up now thanks a ton!
I am happy that it worked :)
Me too! thank you! I have another problem now though haha on the twitch app it has 2 mods I removed on the curse upload but they are still on how would I update it so it wont have those mods?
I think you have to update the pack to a different version ex. 1.0.1 instead of 1.0.0. You can change the version when you export the pack before you upload it to CurseForge.
Because then Twitch would see that oh, there is a new update available. I will now show the update button
