CurseForge / Overwolf Doesn't need the Twitch app to function. As Twitch sold CF to OW. . . If your having issues installing the Overwolf app itself you should go to the Overwolf discord. they should be able to help fix any issues.
If you can open the OW app but can't install the CF app then you should join the CF discord so we can help you better, the forums can be slow
