Hey everyone, long time amateur coder, first time minecraft modder looking for a bit of help.
searching through some tutorials the only ones I can find are just about crafting recipes, adding blocks, and adding items. This is all well and good and work just fine however I am after learning about actual environment changes, changing vanilla aspects such as stopping certain tools to work on certain things from the scope of a mod, and how to interact with pre-existing blocks. (e.g. right-clicking on a wood block without anything in your hand will strip bark off of it).
Anyone help me get more advance in Modding? thanks.
