    Hi,

    Since I started to create Immersive Engineering machines, the game started to lag. Every 30 second, it freezes completely, CPU fan at maximum speed, during 10-15 seconds. This makes it very hard to play, I have trouble getting around my map because it freezes all the times. Trying to relog fixed the issue for a couple of minutes, then it started again. Modded Minecraft is now super hard and frustrating not because of real challenges but because of this recurring lag. I had similar issues with Sky Factory 3, with no real solution, and now this starts again.

    I cannot just skip Immersive Engineering, because I am in staged mode so I need to complete at least the required quests. Even basic machines like the coke and blast ovens, and the metal press, are causing this. I'm not into complex machines yet.

     I'm play on 3.4.1.4. When I upgraded, I noticed that Endermen Evolution was removed, which made me happy, until I found out I get more Endermen without the mod than with it, which I makes absolutely no sense. I spent at least ten minutes looking everywhere in my base, cannot find any unlit spot. Is it possible that Endermen spawn at some brightness levels lower than 10 but higher than the one causing F7 to show a yellow X?
    I tried putting up a Bellethorn Botania flower nearby an Endermen: no effect. The flower does not kill it, maybe it now requires mana to work.
    The only "workaround", besides the Mega Torch, is to turn down volume of hostile mobs to 0% and hope that the Endermen will just chill there and not attack; usually it's the case. I know about the Aversion Obelisk, from Ender IO, but I don't have access to EnderIO yet, nor something to produce enough RF to make the Obelisk work.
    I didn't get other mobs, except in darkness, in particular in my mob spawner, which is the classic room + vector plate + 3x3 hole with spikes. Maybe Endermen teleport of the spawner?

    Hi,

    Since the removal of Endermen Evolution, Endermen started to spawn everywhere. I know, this is totally contradictory, and very shocking to me. I checked and everything is lit, and I'm nevertheless getting Endermen. I'm really pissed off, because I have serious difficulties killing them. They always teleport, they inflict me a lot of damage, I am almost ready to give up this game, this is too hard and frustrating to be constantly interrupted by this. And when they die, instead of dropping useful Ender Pearls, the Endermen drop Inferium essence which is an unfamilar item forever in this pack, because I wrongly chose the Staged progression so everything is locked behind everything, and I am just blocked, stuck and frustrated all the times. I don't want to restart over in Kithensick, I just want to have no more Endermen and be able to progress. I got fed up and put down the MegaTorch I got as a reward a while ago, but that means no more gunpowder, no more zomby flesh, etc.

     Would also be useful to survey which lesser mods NOT to remove. BiblioCraft is definitely useful, providing a system to copy enchanted books. Open Blocks provides fans which is one of the way to move mobs in an automated spawner. Random things provides all sorts of useful gadgets. On the other hand, Endermen Evolution mostly is a nuisance (if there was a way, mid game, to stop Endermen spawning, that could be manageable), Ender Zoo is not so useful, and I don't know anything MagnetiCraft offers not in Immersive Engineering, Thermal Expansion or Ender IO.

     That is still true. The unfamilar item is dropped only when it is the current item in the hotbar. I didn't understand the rule and then noticed when the item wasn't dropped.

     Thanks. Quick dropper definitely helped when I unlocked it yesterday. The dropper somewhat works but is a bit slow.

    Hi,

    Another one: the combustion heater stopped making glowstone. Although there is 4 redstone and 2 blaze powder in it, nothing happens. I know I can try to double check, triple check, relog, restart the game, but that is pointless. It was working last week and now, nothing. Sky Resources is just way too painful to get anything efficient with it. It will be a hard and unpleasant trip to get to Botania when I will be able to turn redstone into glowstone using the catalyst, but I guess that's what I have to do.

    Hi,

    The combustion heater does not work well for me. Regularly, the item I throw in it returns to my inventory before I have time to put back the cobblestone on the top. It does that all the times, and I cannot figure out what is still in it and what returned to my inventory, so I have to start from scratch. This does not happen to people I saw play on YouTube, so either it happens just to me, either they cut the segments during which it happens. Some people were able to craft an item grate to put instead of the cobblestone, so that way no need to break and replace a block, but the item grate is not craftable for me: putting the ingredients in the crafting table or grid does not yield the item. The staged progression, while a good idea in theory, just ends blocking all interesting mods in favor of mods causing issues and complications. I saw Direwolf20 play on PneumaticCraft and he was having so much trouble that I don't want to play with that mod. Immersive Engineering is cool in theory, but now the book makes the game crash, so I'm not looking forward that chapter in the book. At this point, I don't know what to do next, besides avoiding to craft redstone and glowstone (these are the recipes that cause the issue with the heater), but these resources are necessary for progression.

    Hi,

    I'm regularly getting "you dropped the unfamilar item" and cannot get the item stored anywhere, it just drops, drops and drops, so the only thing I can do is to let it despawn or move until the unfamilar item drops in the void. This is just annoying, this just makes the game longer to play for no reason. If I cannot use an item, it should just no exist and that's it, or at least stay in the inventory but just be unusable. Is it something configurable? Why did I never see any player on YouTube run into this issue? Probably they cut away the segments when they deal with that?

    The game now crashes each time I create sticks. Why are all the games now like that? I try, try, try, try, try, and then I have to give up because there is a bug, crash, or dead end? I want something playable, not something that crashes all the times, takes two minutes to restart, takes 10-15 minutes to get anything done, then crashes again!

    I started Agrarian Skies 2 yesterday and I'm now very frustrated, because everything is insanely time-consuming and worthless. I cannot get any food because oak trees drop apples at a very low rate. I need to punch one full tree to get a single apple. I cannot smelt anything, because creating the furnace requires eight cobblestones, which requires eight block of dirt in the sieve. Filling a barrel for compost, in order to get dirt, requires half a stack of strings, which requires at least fifteen minutes for all the leaves in a oak tree to infest. I cannot plant anything, because I have no water. Getting water requires a clay bucket that itself needs to be smelted. Oups, no furnace, not enough cobblestone! I thought about the frying pan from tinker construct, but the item cannot be crafted. I got the stone pan, a wooden tool rod, then tried to assemble in the tool station without success. The recipe seems to be bugged.

    Then after all these efforts, game crashes without any good reason.

    This is Agrarian Skies 2 version 1.1.6.
