     Are you sure is TickrateChanger causing both of those? It doesn't mess with the way chests/stairs works and maxEntityCraming. Also, both of them should only happen in the server tickrate.
    You should try removing TickrateChanger and testing if those issues still happen.

     Yes, it's in the installer, double-click the BetterFps jar to open the installer.

     Probably not. There is not a lot of people using 1.8.9 (most of the players are on 1.10) and I have no time to maintain another version. Sorry

    Sorry for taking too long to release the fix for this issue, but it's finally here :)

     Thanks. Unfortunately, Not only me, but other mod developers have tried many times to remove our mods from these websites and none of us had success. The only thing I can do is to teach people to try to find the mod in Minecraft Forum or in CurseForge instead of going directly to those websites

     You need to have the Minecraft version installed in the vanilla launcher (such as Minecraft 1.11.2)

     The best algorithm depends on a number of factors, such as the processor, ram, graphics card, the state of each hardware piece, the brand of each hardware piece, OS version, Java version, etc.
    For instance, the Vanilla Algorithm is really bad in Java 6-7, but okay in Java 8.
    Sorry, but I can't measure which algorithm would be the best for you, you'll have to test each one (you can use the algorithm tester in the installer). For now this is how it works, however I have plans to change this, making a system that generates algorithm parameters based on automated benchmarks.

    The mod is just client-side for now, so everything drops.

    I'm still thinking about adding an option to keep favorited items... What do you think?

    Forge. It's still kinda bugged, so report any issues you find :P

    ms = milliseconds = 0.001 seconds

    More time to process = slower
