posted a message on [IDEA] Command Block Expansion
Some commands are buged,  but, normally, the mod´s commands work on command blocks, just use other mods, or ask the mod autor to fix the commands of the mod. I tested commands on command blocks, and the bigger part work.
     Thanks for the clarification.

Yes, they can, a mod of this is useless

Really? Give me an example of a Minecraft command block running a command from a mod? I tried this recently in 1.10.2 and it did not work at all.

     Help Me Plz :/

That's not a crash report. Look in your crash reports folder in your curse installation, typically under Documents->Curse->Instances->name of pack->Minecraft->Crash Reports/
Then once you have that open it and put it in pastebin.com and finally give us the link to the pastebin page that is generated.

posted a message on how to add mods to my pack
    Quote from TheFlabbyKing >>

how do u repload srry i am a noob to this whole modpack creating thing but my modpack is actually getting really popular really quickly

    click orange file button
Just repack the modpack and click the "file upload" button, on the subsequent page fill out all the details again, make sure your file has a version number on it so people will know which one is the newest and whatever you do don't delete/archive old versions unless there is something seriously wrong with them.

You can get an example of a properly formatted manifest.json from any modpack hosted on curse. I have small one called Ultra Mini Omnia, The manifest.json is as follows:

I suspect based on the information you gave that you are using either a Commodore 64, Amiga or Linux machine as the reason you can't use the Curse Launcher to build the pack. Have you tried running the Curse Launcher under Wine?

Oh sorry for the confusion... You need to search up Salmon Mod... My mistake for the whole Idea thing.

You can still provide a link, we don't need to search for it, simply hilite "salmon mod" and click the chain right after the ! on the toolbar, then plug in your mod's url (address). Hit ok, done and done!

I choose Swords, Scrolls & Shields. You could add the vocation mod to it so you can have voice over triggers/quests in it, that will add an extra flare to your modpack. I would suggest distributing it with a starter world or at least a mod that will import a starter structure at spawn, that way the world can be generated naturally. The starter structure would ideally be a hamlet or castle populate with all of the related NPCs that would get you started. Much like the starting village at the base of Castle Azeroth in World of Warcraft.

posted a message on Rainbow or fog after the rain.

The fog could be done by having the cloud layer appear on the ground, ie changing it's y axis value.

I could see using the same block that defines the cloud layer to do the rainbow as well that way you can move through it. This would easily open up new possibilities like discovering a leprechaun with his pot of gold that he'll defend to the death or a unicorn.

I would like to see it as a server side mod, so there goes the shaders.

Are those two mods visual and inside the game? if that is the case, then you are mostly right. I also would like to be able to make custom blocks like you would do with chisels and bits or chisels and save them out to be used with said recipes. Also link multiblock builds. In essence, I want to be able to create a modded block or tool inside of the minecraft gaming world with the trees and the pigs running around me.

Feel free to send me your alpha or betas of this if they are not going to appear on curse anytime soon, I would be more than happy to help you debug it.

posted a message on [Mod Idea] In Game Recipe/Item Manager

Based on problems I am having in 1.10+ and that Crafting Harmonics is much too complicated to simply edit the file, especially if you don’t understand .json that well …

And well, it occurs to me, that I now have an idea for a mod that I am willing to write if someone doesn’t beat me to it. Please beat me to it, only say you were inspired by Kreezxil and refer folks back to http://kreezcraft.com, that is all I ask. I don’t want to code it. But I will out of necessity if no one jumps on it.

A graphic interface mod to Crafting Harmonics would be great, or a completely new one that removes, adds all kinds of recipes, using items from all the mods that were initialized in a pack, it would because it would be completely in-game.

    My vision:

    1. is that you as op would issue a command like /tweaker for instance and that would bring up the interface. For this to work you will need to have JEI or NEI installed and cheat mode enabled in the the appropriate config for the item viewer.
    2. You will be presented with a crafting grid and output,
    3. an option to set shapeless,
    4. and the ability to oredict the recipe.
    5. A remove button.
    6. And finally an add button.

    Operation:

    Remove a Recipe

There you are in your world and that gui has been activated. Now you want to remove a recipe, so you position your mouse over an item in the JEI and hit the ‘r’ key or left click and it populates the grid you’re looking at and ofcourse the resulting output.

    Click remove.

The recipe is now blocked from further use.

    Add a Recipe

Whether or not the previous screen is still up and populate, imagine that you have a populated grid and something in the output slot. The output slot will not auto-generate as it does with a player level crafting grid, that is so you can switch the output to anything you want.

When everything is to your liking, you will press, “Add”, and now the recipe is loaded into your world for further use.

    Optional Stuff

There would also be the oredict and shapeless check boxes to indicate a further action to done to the recipe when adding it to the game.

Clicking the “Add” and “Remove” button is what will finalize the recipe into your system and generate the necessary config file so that it will be reloaded on next boot of the server or ssp world.

    Thoughts:

Why even stop there. I mean make that and get it out and become popular you will. But don't stop, take it a step further and allow someone to easily make a collection of blocks and items with no idea of code and then save it all as a mod. With some thought you could have it where you combined an item with another item to get a hybrid of the two items, redesign the recipe and visually as if in a modeler redefine what the block/item itself looks like. I won't elaborate more than this. The idea prior to these thoughts is good enough, but if you someone really wanted to to go all the way, these thoughts can serve as a seed.

    • no configs
    • all in game config
    • no commands
    • Op pulls in block, possible 2 blocks high like a refrigerator
    • right clicks block and gets a gui
    • gui has 2 slots
    • slot one is titled condition, and a ghosted quantity of items is put there
    • slot two is titled rewards, where another ghosted quantity of items is located
    • op then puts a sign or more on the machine sides or near (not required by the mod) explaining the quest
    • player right clicks machine and is instructed to fill in condition requirement until the reward becomes unghosted
    • at which time they take the reward and the condition self nukes
    • completion is stored in the scoreboard
    • there could probably be an option where if op places an repeater in a slot, that it becomes a repeatable quest

I would like to see this for 1.9.4/1.10 if possible.

    Hows that for an idea?

The kitsune mod, I think it is 1.8 or 1.8.9 has a wooden hopper. Which is what spurred me to think about this.
