It does, but metallurgy is huge compared to substratum. It's the small size that I like. The reason I asked for worldgen is more or less because I want to know if I have to reset the map for it!

Edit: Unfortunately Substratum is totally not compatible with TiCo. The ores are only mineable with a diamond level pickaxe, which you can only make (in TiCo) with casts, and I needed it to make the casts. Further more they don't smelt in the smeltery so I can't even turn them into blocks or casts anyway. I removed it and I gave up looking for aluminum for now, but if anyone has a good tip it's still welcome! I also tried to add mekanism but that was too much for my pack and minecraft didn't load up properly anymore with the amount of RAM I could give it, so I'm storing that for later!

No I don't have zinc, and I prefer not use up my gold for casts. Substratum was just perfect! I have put a list of my 'modpack' on pastebin for people who are interested to see what's in it: http://pastebin.com/DHpMfr5r I have spent a week tuning it and finding out what would work together and what not, and especially what would work with the amount of ram I could free up on my laptop! Ofcourse it's no official modpack as such, but for lack of better word that's what I'm calling it! And no modpack woud be complete without TiCo ofcourse!!

Edit: Does mekanism add anything to worldgen? It looks awesome, but I already loaded up large parts of my map....

Immersive Engineering is anything but small, it is one of those techpack mods, and besides that I personally feel that the way it looks and works are too far away from the "minecraft feeling" unlike techpacks such as IC2, EnderIO and RFTools which are already in my pack. Another huge mod like that would make my already overcrowded pack even fuller and heavier, and as it stands it just runs on my laptop. Thats why I was hoping there would be a small mod that adds it too! But I'm guessing I'm out of luck, because I have looked everywhere and all I can find is IE....

    Edit:

For people that are coming to my topic looking for the same thing, someone on Minecraft Forum just suggested Substratum to me, and I think that is just something I was looking for. It adds a number of ores but not a huge amount, and leaves using the ores to other mods. You can also disable certain ores in the config (but I won't do that), hence it's just the kind of compatability type of mod that I was looking for!

posted a message on Tinkers Construct 1.10 & Heart Canisters?

Hey, I wonder if someone can tell me more about this! I recently updated my modpack from 1.7.10 to 1.10.2 and I can't find the minitiature hearts nor the heart canisters anywhere in game. I have read the "What changed since 1.7.10?" list in the mod page, and while it does mention not having aluminum ore anymore (among others) it doesn't say anything about the hearts and the canisters. Have they been removed also? Or is it just that I don't get to see them because my modpack has no aluminum ingots that TiCo can support? I hope anyone can clarify this for me!

Since Tinkers Construct no longer adds tin/copper/aluminum I am looking for a good replacement to provide aluminum in game. I have plenty of mods in my pack that add tin copper and bronze for support, but none of them add aluminum. The couple of mods I found that do are very big tech packs, and as it is I have a few of those already and don't want to add anything that big. Is there a mod that is relatively small and adds aluminum that anyone knows of?

posted a message on MCMultiPart / Forge MultiPart ?

    Hello,

I am cooking up a list of mods that I'd like to play with in single player (say a modpack that only I will use) and I came across something I'd like to know more about. One of my mods recquires Forge Multipart, but I also saw MCMultiPart passing by. That raises some questions for me.... What are the differences? Can a mod that depends on one also work with the other, or do you need both in that case, and will they work together nicely? I hope someone can tell me more about this!
