I recently just got minecraft and wanted mods. I know that I need to have the 1.12.2 installation of forge to download the mods I want since newer ones haven't been released but when I download the proper forge, the forge doesn't show up on my minecraft loading screen. No videos have been able to help me with this. I only have the latest release of minecraft and forges 1.14.4. Can anyone help me? I can't download any of the mods I want because of this.
