Sorry for being late, I'm kinda busy between work and family these days. Anyways thanks @MJRLegends for the help, I switched to beta as suggested, but I still have the "timeout" kind error. I checked my lan net, internet connection, anything that could interfere but still nothing. My internet seems healthy, not great (8mb/sec is kinda lame, I know), but I can browse, download ( also via Steam) with no problems, slowly but surely. Actually I'm using MultiMC as launcher, without problems. No clue what to do about the twitch launcher, actually I have to refresh several times just to browse the available modpacks, and it doesn't recognize the modpacks already installed at first try too. Maybe it's great just to watch streams, I don't know, I didn't need a specific app for that since I can use my browser. It's kinda sad to me seeing the launcher slowly decaying, since I was an FTB launcher (then Curse) user and I think I'll quit using Twitch launcher for a while. Sorry for not being helpful.

In reply to thepilotpenguin:Just a little update:If you install the modpacks with the launcher, when they get an update you are notified and you can update them (if you wish) simply by clicking the update button instead of the play one. By the way if you install the modpacks manually, you are not notified when they are updated and you have to repeat the procedure I have wrote up there. This just because the launcher recognize the imported modpack as a custom made one I think, and not a hosted one.The thing is that PO2 has updated again these days, and for me the standard install procedure through the Twitch launcher still doesn't work.I have downloaded successfully the updated modpack from Curseforge but this time I had some trouble installing it. I had some error "Failed generating exception... blah blah blah" or something, several times, too many time tbh. I tried and tried and only yesterday early morning (at around 5.00 am) it has installed successfully. Maybe it's random, maybe my internet or the moon influence, or summer coming (brace yourselves), I really don't know. And it is the randomness of the thing that really bothers me. The only thing that I can say to you is try again, and again, and again maybe changing times if you can.Or maybe, if you dont care about the Twitch launcher, once downloaded the modpack you could try install it in MultiMC. Someone could say that it has a less "fancy" interface, but it has all the configuration options you need to launch Minecraft, maybe it's worth a try. I should try that next time too I think.Sorry for not being too much helpful.

In reply to Tonksfight:1.Download the pack from Curseforge, it's a .zip file , and save it somewhere in your hard drive.2. Open the Twitch launcher and in the Minecraft tab choose to "Create a custom profile".3.In the window that opened, just under the title, there's the "Import a previously exported profile" option, it's small but it's highlighted.4. Click that "import" and browse/select the .zip file of the modpack that you have previously downloaded (no need to configure anything else).5. Just wait the time for the installation.6. You're done!7.OPTIONAL. Grab a cold beer from the fridge and cheers! That's what I've done, it shoul'd work for every modpack feautured in the Twitch launcher, at least it worked for the PO2 and Craft of the Titans packs. The only difference that i spotted by installing the modpacks this way , is that the thumbnails in the launcher are different, just in the case you do care about it.Hope it helps! Cya!(Sorry for my bad English, it isnt my first language)

So today Twitch Launcher has updated. I don't know what happened but now Crash of Titans has downloaded and installed properly. PO2 still fails the download by the launcher BUT downloading it from curseforge and importing it into Twitch launcher has worked pretty well. Finally I am now able to play it again. I hope this solution could work for you too guys, good luck!

Hi all, I've got the same error here. I'm tryin' to download it since yesterday, but still no luck. Also I downloaded it successfully from the Curse page and I tried to install it by creating a new profile in Twitch/Curse launcher and importing it. It seemed to work but after a while it stopped the installation. Still no clue. Thanks in advance for any suggestion.
Just an update from last time I wrote (I think it was Sunday). I tried to uninstall the Twitch launcher and all the packs related and then to re-install everything, just to clean everything. The only two packs that won't install are Project Ozone 2 and Craft of the Titans. They both gave the same error. Everything else (All the Mods 2, Ardentcraft, Skyblock 3 and Vanilla) they have installed and work perfectly, so I assume that it is not an issue with my client and not a problem related only with the PO2 pack.
