I agree 3.1.5 is broken, however it is an Alpha version. That is to be expected. I have downgraded to 3.1.4. I would recommend doing the same if you are having issues.
I can no longer place saplings in hopping bonsai pots. The ones that I had place earlier keep growing, but if I break the pot and replace it I can no longer right click saplings into it. Has something changed with the pots? I am on the latest version 3.1.5 as of writing this.
I finally managed to break through and produce steel. Feels so nice. It was a fairly long linear grind from bronze ingot->steel. But now so much has opened it. It's a nice feeling :)
HMMMM Anyone else having issues on piping fluids into carpenters using fluiducts? I will get it working, still plenty of resources for crafting, then randomly the carpenter will stop accepting fluid. Is this a known bug? Is there an alternative type of piping I can use that won't bug out like this? I have to break the fluiduct and replace it to get it to start inputting into the carpenter. It always extracts the seed oil just fine from the squeezer, but all of a sudden it just won't be able to output....
I have to say that I think that this is probably the best quest based pack on 1.12.2. It's so refreshing to play a skyblocks mod pack that actually uses new mods. ExNihlo has gotten so overused at this point. I think I actually like SkyResources more. The multiblock setup is very well designed, and allows for a lot of creativity and the quest book is detailed. It's not a perfect pack mind you, a tad to linear at times, and there could be more inter-mod item compatibility. However, it stacks well above the other packs! I'm liking Expert mode a whole lot.
I see. So I should replace the bronze combustion heater with an iron one. The bronze combustion heater is useless then? Sucks that I had to do the 4ingot->1plate recipe on it. Maybe the questbook should be updated to not indicate to new players that they should use it?
I am a bit confused. The Quest book says that because of the netherbricks casings low efficiency, it's best to avoid fuel based combustion heaters. Okay well the only available alternative (to me currently) is the bronze one that takes RF. So I hook that up to a generator and find out the HU production is about 100x lower than what it would have been just using the fuel based combustion generators... I would have to use approximately 500 charcoal and wait half a day for it to burn to do a single glowstone reaction. What's going here? Am I missing something?
