The thing is, he's only been running it on 2 gigabytes of ram, and it's been working perfectly with extreme shaders, so that's a lie, sorry, and second of all, it's worked before but now that there are so many mods we needed to add NotEnoughIDs. Maybe one mod is giving him a problem since we've added and deleted so many? I don't know if you can help any more than that.
My friend recently made a mod pack, using a bunch of mods that he liked, and then we started adding onto it until it had 100+ mods. We recently tried to load up the mod pack, and it seemed to run fine for me, but he couldn't get it open because when he hit the start button in the Minecraft Launcher, it disappeared, did the blue circle next to the mouse, and did nothing. He waited for maybe 5 minutes and nothing came up(it usually takes about 15 seconds for the mod pack to start up for me, and my computer is not good at all). When we tried to load it up again, it said that the game was already running, so he went to the task manager and found the Java(TM) Platform SE Binary running in the background. After he ended the task, it said the game crashed, and he tried loading up the game multiple times without any success.
Basically, the game wouldn't start up and would run in the background every time, with only this specific mod pack.
