er, I recreated my modpack like 20 times and it still hasn't gone through for me, with the same error message also... pls help D:

Not sure, you could pm me the modpack and I'd look at it. Don't worry i won't do anything fishy, i do resourcepacks more anyway. Or screenshot the inside of the modpack so i can see the file extensions.

posted a message on question about the weather mod on here

I use the one weathers, tornados and etc on 1.12.2 and I can't get the tornado to pick up the player no matter what I do.

I also would like it to happen to set the config up so that way a randomly storm with chance to be deadly will happen around 16000 ticks of playing in the game and resets and the storm dissapates after about 1800 to 2400 ticks in game.

I don't own the mod and I'm just linking so you know what mod I'm talking about to get help. I asked on it but author hasn't said what i need to do.

    https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/weather-storms-tornadoes?gameCategorySlug=mc-mods&projectID=237746

Any help would be appreciative. I'm making my minecraft a just a bit more fun is all. A challenge of surviving a tornado or hurricane (that actually works like it's intended) would be fun.

posted a message on Textures for your Mod!

i am using tabula, it really good for working with cubes and stuff like this but there is no way to create spheres, earlier i used techne and blender.

Well I got it partly made for alexey like I could but when I got all 3 linked up my computer was bogging down which is weird because the goal is to cause less leg using infinite linking spheres... So I guess I have to see if he can do it. But I do appreciate your reply.

posted a message on Textures for your Mod!

ok! I'm glad to see such intrest in my work i want also to announce that i am making textures for magic books 2!
The mod isn't uploaded yet but i recomand you to check out project site and the magic books 1 mod!

May I ask what model editor you are using? I like blockbench but it's really hard on my computer and I like the frog you did. I'm trying to find a model creator that can handle creating the infinity sphere model to be applied to all textures in game but once I get my model and duplicate it twice, my computer bogs down.

posted a message on Modded Minecraft Help(Sound failure)

    EDIT:

I found that crattweaker and it's mods won't work til they update to 1.12.2

To fix the sound error you have to go here

    http://www.dll-found.com/zip/o/OpenAL64.dll.zip (straight download)

    https://www.virustotal.com/#/url/22172925186a651848c6bca9a8d29fd509ab507d1531f3e3cbf7bbbae6e4535a/detection

and manually extract that file and put it in your system32 folder. I'm running a complete scan with avast and malewarebytes but I'm pretty positive it's safe. it's an error on minecraft's new launcher that downloads the 32bit openal on to windows 10 64 bit computers thus why it can't be found.

Hope this helps anyone else here, enjoy.

Yea, I just found out what it was earlier this morning, it ended up being Storage Tech which kinda sucks, but I found a replacement mod that gives me the same items that I was looking for which is nice, but, even though I did find out what the crash was, I still want to give thanks for the response, much appreciated.
You're welcome. A lot easier for your issue than mine. ~:) Anyway glad you got it resolved, have a good day.

I am exporting the file for the modpack from the twitch desktop app.  The zip file has 3 things in it.  Overrides, manifest.json, and modlist.html
Overrides contains all the configs and such.  When i upload it the file is rejected and it says, Invalid file extension, expected jar, litemod.  I have never uploaded a jar file before and have always been fine with a zipped file.  AGH this is really frustrating...
basically the error has something to do with the extension file. maybe a mistake in the end or something. and it's expecting a .jar file, so I assumed it was to deal with it.

It is a modpack tho, when I export the profile its a zip file, or a rar file if im using winrar
oh, I see. I'm guessing maybe you have a folder inside the modpack? I'd try making a folder name (your modpack) and moving mods into it. Than going into that folder and press crtl + a and right click the mod in there and do below
7zip: Add to (your modpack) .zip
Winrar: add to archive and click .zip and change name in program

than try uploading it. If you want it in a folder, you could try compressing into a .rar folder than I've seen on some mods, but I'm not positive. Any way if none of these work, I apologize.

I think a mod is clashing with one of the storage mods you have in the modpack. I'd find a new version of it or remove it and it's core from the pack and try to reload it.

Invalid file extension, expected jar, litemod.   I keep getting this when I upload my zip file.  WHat does it mean?

it sounds like it wants a .jar file and not a .zip file. If it's a mod they usually are always in a .jar mod.
I don't think they allow .jars put in zips on this site, so try removing it from the zip file and uploading it if it's a .jar file in a .zip file.

I'm assuming but could be wrong that any license would apply as long as you aren't selling the mod, and you have to address part 6 on that article and you should be safe.

    Quote from Boolyman >>

There are already multiple mods that increase mob spawns and or difficulty.   Zombie Awareness, Rough Mobs, Scaling Health, Infernal Mobs, Epic Siege Mobs, etc...   You just have to look.

You sound like you need a hard combat-focussed modpack, not just a hard mod itself.  There are plenty on Curse already.

Rough mobs & infernal mobs was a bit to hard, couldn't control the difficulty. Truthfully I just need to learn how to code java so I can make my own mod or actual non-related to minecraft videogame....
