posted a message on To those of us using large amounts of Datapacks...

For the love of all that is Holy, load your datapacks through Fabric/Cotton.

I had a few datapack mods installed inside the Datapack folder in my saved game folder. I didn't realize just how much of a performance

impact that had until I have 10 or more installed. Then using a vein miner a few times cause my game to "lose connection" in a single player game.

I was sitting at a constant 50-70ms tick.

Once I discovered that I could move them into the datapacks folder in the main C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft folder...

    I'm sitting at a constant 9ms ticks...

I'll do more testing and research, but I had no idea how much faster it was to use the API.

The only downside is that ALL new and old saved games will use the datapacks.

PS. DO NOT UNZIP the datapack and make them folders. Keep them .Zip files. this too can have a big impact on performance.

Any ideas as to what could be causing this?

Edit: They aren't actually holes. But invisible barrier blocks.

posted a message on I have some problems..when i start minecraft,an error screen is shown,i've gone into the latest and found this.

Looks like you're missing several libraries that mods a requiring to work. MCjtylib, Malisiscore, endercore, Coroutil...

    Example:

[17:43:10] [Client thread/FATAL] [FML]: net.minecraftforge.fml.common.MissingModsException: Mod zombieawareness (Zombie Awareness) requires [coroutil]

Found out what mod it originates from. SmoothBedrock. I'm guessing it's a API of some kind...

    In reply to roses4664:

You'll need a mod loader installed for the mod and the version of minecraft you are running. Once you have that installed, mods will go into your

C:\Users\(YourUserName)\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\mods folder. You may have to make hidden folders visible in order to see the AppData folder.

    posted a message on Jankson?

So I've got 62 mods installed, and they all are working just fine. But I looked in my mod list and there is a mod called Jankson. I do not have any idea what it is, and it's not listed anywhere. Anyone know what it is?
