Nevermind boys we're back up and running. Seems curseforge had some extra maintenance to do, but everything is functional now :)

It seems twitch maintenance is over, and streamers are going live again, however the issue still persists. Twitch has made comments about the maintenance but nothing regarding curseforge, and even after it has ended curseforge is still not functioning properly. It may not be as temporary as we had hoped.

    In reply to Redumulistar:

Agreed. They shouldve made a more user-friendly sign (maybe some text instead of a ghost) and/or informed people that it was going to happen. Maybe when going into minecraft in the mods tab they couldve let us know that twitch would be down. Or sent out an email, or put it on their twitter. Just a thought.

My brother and I have been having the same issue for a few hours now, and I think the same goes for everyone. I tried searching it up but after searching for hours this is the first thing I've found on the topic. It may have something to do with maintenance or discontinuation and we will simply have to wait for the issue to resolve itself as it is not a bug or an error, but a temporary (or permanent) closure of the service that twitch mandated intentionally.

tl;dr - There will most likely not be a fix or a workaround, aside from waiting until twitch re-enables the service.
