you probably will not be able to play on the world again. If an entire day passes and the problem persists, then you likely wont be able to play on the world again. If this is the case:
things to check:
are all mods matching version with your minecraft version?
is mixin being used?
if the first question is a yes and the second question is a no, you need to create a new world adding back the mods one by one to see the cause.
Else if first question is a no , than fix it. If the second question is a yes, list mods and crash file and hope someone else can help.
Unless you want to learn/try intellij idea or a different great java editor, I am assuming you cant. If you do want to try/learn, put the jar file in the idea folder, you have to restart intellij or be patient to have it show up. Once that is done open the jar as a library and then you should be able to make it work assuming willingness to learn.
Trhod177 what I meant when I said "learning fabric" is that old fabric compatible mods still work with latest fabric.(Note: that same does not apply to forge)

if still having problems after step 3.5, you need to uninstall and reinstall java. Than if still stuck do step 4.

options:
1.talk to support
2.install manually rftools
3.avoid premade modpacks unless using special launchers because they contain incompatible versions.
0
Step 1:
Check if it persists for a full day
Step 2:
reinstall forge and minecraft and any other similar applications
Step 3:
If using mods, remove them all and add them back individually until it works. This can take days.
Step 3.5:
If using mods, the mods with different version numbers than minecraft version are incompatible- without coding or using a special launcher.
Step 4:
If you got here and the minecraft version is not working and discussion board wont help, talk to some sort of support.

In reply to henri9009:
check if mod version numbers match the minecraft version. (Easy fix)
else If problems persist that modpack has incompatible mods.

You need to add mods 1 by 1 to test which mod is/has the issue.
