posted a message on Ghost appears when I try to open a modpack

    In reply to InQuognito:

When I contacted Twitch regarding this, after having submitted my issue as MacOs platform-based thing, they gave me advice for fixing the problem, but it was advice that applied only to the Windows version. I specifically submitted the issue as one that I experienced on the aforementioned Mac platform, but I don't know why they gave me info about the windows version. I'm wondering when a fix will happen? Below is the text of a post I made to the support forums of curse, I hope a support team member sees it.

“Hello there, this morning, when I attempted to open up a Minecraft twitch profile this morning through the Mac desktop app, I noticed that a Pacman-like Ghost icon started appearing. This occurrence is preventing me from opening up my created profiles through the Twitch launcher, can you please look into this? Today was the first day where this occurrence happened, it did not happen in any days before today.

I contacted Twitch support about this issue, and they gave me an automatic reply relating to the process for fixing this issue, yet that help was related to, at least as far as I can tell, the Windows computer version of Twitch. I, however, use a Mac, and therefore I could not go through the steps that they provided. I told them "I thank you for giving me pointers on what to do, but those pointers do not help me at all in the slightest. The reason they cannot help me is that they appear to be steps of how I can fix this issue on a Windows computer. In your customer service "Email Us" section, there is an option called "Platform/OS where the issue is experienced" And I chose the Mac OS version for the platform where the issue was experienced. I am not interested in figuring out how to fix this issue on a Windows computer, rather I am only interested in the aforementioned Mac OS version. I hope that you can help me with this issue, and if you cannot, please get me in touch with CurseForge, maybe they can help. Maybe it is something on their end, and maybe I have to contact them instead, but whatever the case, I hope this gets resolved."

However, since the email I got was an automated one, I doubt that they received my reply to the initial email. That is why I come to you because maybe you can help me out. Enclosed below, you will find an image of the issue I am talking about. Please email me if you have any questions, I will be happy to provide any needed information for you. I would like to see this fixed as soon as possible, please let me know if you can fix this?

Thank you and have A blessed day!”

Btw, I was hoping that someone from the actual Curse customer support team would take a look at this, but I guess not.

OK, so what should we do about this? Should we contact Curse about this? As I've said before, I contacted Twitch regarding this, and I didn't really get much help from them.
