i have tried to make a complete new server with the only files not being replaced is the world itself, even though it DID work, after 2 minutes it happened again.
also tried to remove the ftbutilities extension because it looked like it was creating permissions and even that didnt do the trick.
right now im completely clueless mostly because its a premade server pack(from the roguelike adventures and dungeons modpack) and since it has quite a couple of mods alot could be creating this problem.
I was thinking on trying to make a small server to enjoy a modpack again with my friend, i got the pc needed to run the modpack also.
the only problem we ran in was that my friend at some point was not able to break blocks, altough he is able to open doors, break non block things and is able to interact with anything except the "building blocks"
also sometimes he is wielding another item than he's holding on my screen? could be usefull to also mention.
anyone in here who had the same problem and could help me out? or maybe a genius is able to fix my problem
Note: i just see that i said: "place" but i was talking about breaking blocks
