Well, it's a pumpkin with that texture pack at least, with the vanilla one it was a zombie head. I didn't knew about any kind of event, and since I installed multiple mod that week, I assumed it was linked. But nonetheless, it's true that I don't see it anymore ! ^^ I wonder what mod was adding that, or was it Mojang ? The issue is probably from a zombie mod anyway, because babies have still the bug sometimes wearing helmets.
Much thanks for the answers =) After reinstalling everything from fresh, and tweaking a bit what I can understand in config files, I managed to have a world mob generation that seem pretty legit. I was maybe indeed biased by my knowlege coming from way older minecraft version ^^
Since sometimes I regulary saw zombies with an extra head floating over themself, wich follow their movements. I'm not really sure wich mod could be the cause, but since it's recent I could post a screen of my latest added mods. I tried removing one by one mobs related ones, but the issue was still here. from the go, any idea ?
Also, I can put this in a question I always had but never really saw a global answer, besides from each mod regarding it's compatibilities, and the obvious conflics for mods that touch the same game parts: Is it playable to have multiple mob related mods, or does they conflict too much with each other in definitive ?
I have the impression my world should be overpopulated with all kind of mobs, but in fact most of the time it's still almost only vanilla mobs, and in regular number. I really rarely see special mobs, I only have a horde of zombies sometimes thanks to "zombies awareness". Same for friendly mobs, the more I add animals related mod the less it seems to have wildlife ingame ! Lot of deserted biome with only some birds, verry few fish in water, etc...
I've read that nothing can really change to an extreme the core of spawning system in minecraft owever, so I'm not attempting to make the overworld hell on earth, but I feel like i'm doing something wrong.
I'm using "remove mouseover highlight" because most of the time I don't like it; but it's still usefull sometimes, and those time I don't like it either ! It's way too shallow, almost not visible, I was wondering if there is a mod to change it ?
I know some shaders do it since I saw player with shader having a non-vanilla highlight, but I personally prefer playing without shader. Also I found one mod that does it, but for pre 1.8 minecraft version only, nothing else since.. And finally, I read that apprently ressource pack can't change it..
I'm not that good for googling though, is there any mod who do that (and mostly only that) ?
Hi there. I'm worried about my world, i'm more and more affected by two simultaneous effect status: "Plague" and "Poison".
I made the assemption it has to do with chicken since the first time I had it I was among them, thinking it has to do with having too much of them maybe. At first I thought it was fun, nice idea ^^ so I genocided them all, and managed to have less and better cared. But now I have it from my gargoyls it seems, at least they have it.. And it seems like it will have no end... =( The strangest part is that I find absolutly no word about it nowhere on the internet ! And so I have no idea of where it come from..
I'm in 1.12.2 with the latest adequat Forge build. Not sure I have integrated it here like I should, but I took a screenshot of my mod folder to list them, I checked wich one would be the more obvious to add it but I didn't see.. I can also add my latest crash report, but it has nothing to do with the plague so not sure it can be of any use..
I also had better portal just before, really awesome mod, but it caused error / incompatibilities with other mods, so I just removed it, wasn't the cause of the Plague anyway apparently.. ( Having deleted it neither btw, problem was here also before allready. )
