posted a message on Choosing of mapping for mod-library for 1.12.2

Hello! Which mappings are best to use to develop a library for 1.12? Library means that mod can be uses by other mod developers as dependency for them mods.

    I know two good variants:

       1. mappings=snapshot_20171003

This is good  because it's default mappings in mdk. I don't think a lot of developers think about things like mappings(Isn't it? correct me if I'm wrong)

       2. mappings=stable_39

This is good  because it's newer mappings, it have a less obfuscated names...

I also have two solutions to this dilemma:

    1. Release my library with both mappings. This will allow both simple users and advanced users to use the library without any problems. But this will make the first think about mappings.
    2. Check, how many peoples uses snapshot_20171003 and stable_39, and choose a large group

    Any ideas? Thx in advance!
