Its starting to look a lot like Christmas. And our team members are mostly looking forward to spending time with their families. On Dec 25th, 2015 our team members will not be working their normal hours, instead they plan to eat turkey and roast beef and way too many cookies while listening to screaming sugar fueled children. Files may be approved, if one of our team members is looking for an excuse to escape Aunt Mabel or Uncle Bob, otherwise, project approval and file review will be postponed until Dec 26th, 8am PST.

 

We hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday. Try to leave some cookies for Santa and his elves.

 

 

Many of our users and creators have asked for a place to share files that aren't mods or textures, files such as Lucky Block configs. In response to the requests, we have added a new type of project to the Minecraft downloads. The new "Customization" project type can be used to share configuration files, world gen scripts, Minetweaker scripts , guidebooks, quest configurations and just about anything else a creator might want to share. These files will not show up on the Curse Client as most of them require a specific .txt or .json file to be placed inside a mods config folder. 

 

 

Pick the category that best suits your customization and share it with everyone. With the new additions, Lucky Block configs have been moved. 

 

 

 

 

 

Post Pax dinner review and details on upcoming events.

If you are headed to Pax South, or you will be in the San Antonio,TX area on Saturday Jan 24th, you are invited to dinner on us. In the tradition of Texas dinner will be steak. There may be vegetables hidden somewhere.*

Dinner will start at 7pm at Texas de Brazil. It is an all you can eat Brazilian steakhouse with an excellent salad bar.  You must be 17+ to attend. You must be 21+ with valid ID to drink alcohol.** Come hang out with FTB, Curse, streamers, youtubers, authors, and anyone else that stops in.

*Yes there will be an option for vegetarians.

**  We do not provide minors with alcohol. 

Half of the CurseForge team is headed to Pax South Jan 22-26th. During this time approvals may take slightly longer than normal, especially during the 10pm to 10am shift (CST). We will still be checking the queues and approving files, but we will be away from our computers with only hotel internet to rely on, so delays may occur. If you are going to be at Pax South, come find us and say hi.
