    Speaking of Storage Drawers, has anyone else experienced minor glitching of the items pictures on the block? e.g flashing as you move the camera, image tearing.

     I have seen it in a couple lets-plays.  Some GPUs just seem to be more prone to Z-fighting over the small distance between the label and the rest of the block.  Or optifine, that seems to nearly guarantee it.

    1.1.5 - The compacting drawers are deleting compressed cobblestone, i copied the design from soaryn, and when i do it the cobble is being deleted

     If you're using ExU Transfer nodes to pull from them, the bug is recently documented.  Use another pipe to pull until it's fixed.

    Yeah, I reviewed the code, and there is no general fix.  There is no way to know that oreberryIron and cropFerranium aren't incompatible types, without explicitly saying so (whitelist).  If you've added a bunch of new ore dictionary registrations to your pack, it's probably riddled with cases like this.

    Let me know if you need further help resolving this.

    I haven't seen anyone else post this since I posted about it in alpha, but the iron nuggets you harvest from ferranium plants don't work in compacting drawers. They just sit there as nuggets. There's a workaround, by smelting an iron ingot in the smeltery, converting it into nuggets which you then place in a barrel. Then when you harvest iron nuggets from your ferranium and put them in the barrel they are converted from thaumcraft nuggets to minecraft nuggets which allows them to work in compacting drawers.

    I haven't worked my way through all the resource seeds yet but so far iron is the only one with this problem.

     Does anyone want to (re-)load in MineTweaker and dump the ore dictionary table for me?  Probably the only way to really tell what's going wrong.  The drawers will reject oredicting an item if its does something janky with its registrations that could cause an ambiguity.

     All the resource crops have crop{resourceplant name} as their first OreDict.

    Iron nugget = cropFerranium + nuggetIron

    Gold Nugget = cropAurigold

    Diamond Nugget = cropDiamahlia

    Platinum = cropPlatiolus

    EmeraldFragment = cropEmeryllis

    Cobalt = cropCobaltclematis

    Ardite = cropArditeclematis

    copper = cropCuprosia

    Tin = cropPetinia

    Silver = cropSilverweed

    Lead = cropPlombean

    Nickel = cropNiccissus

    Invar = cropInvarweed

    Signalum = cropSignalweed

    Lumium = cropIlluminationweed

    Enderium = cropEndearingweed

    Ingots do the same for crops that drop ingots

    cropIronweed

    cropGoldenrod

    cropCobaltbush

    cropArditebush

    cropAluminumweed

    cropCopperweed

    cropSilverrose

    cropNickelweed

    cropPlatinumweed

    The rules for oredicting and more complicated, hence the need for the complete ore dictionary.  The relevent ore dictionary records in AS2 are:

    Ore entries for <ore:nuggetIron> :

    <Thaumcraft:ItemNugget>
    <ThermalFoundation:material:8>
    <TConstruct:oreBerries>
    <TConstruct:materials:19>
    <MagicBees:beeNugget>

    Ore entries for <ore:cropFerranium> :

    <Thaumcraft:ItemNugget>

    Ore entries for <ore:oreberryIron> :

    <TConstruct:oreBerries>

    Because you have entries under cropFerranium and oreberryIron which are "unified" by nuggetIron, nuggetIron is classified as a categorical entry, and becomes blacklisted for conversion.  It's to protect from entries like GT's "ingotAnyMetal", which would allow players to turn any metal into any other metal.

    I will need to carefully review the code to see if I can pass benign cases like the above.  I did provide a way to override this by whitelist, but it's provided through MineTweaker and you stopped using that.  And ... I can't even get MT scripts to load in my test world at all anymore? :/  The registry is also a public static object on the main StorageDrawers class.

    That suggests you're in Adventure Mode.  Do you have a reason to be in Adventure Mode?

    @JadedCat

    FYI, for the quest Fancy Upgrades in section 5 Storage Wars, one of the items you need to craft is a Drawer Key and the reward is 4 more Drawer Keys.  The Drawer Keys are not consumed on use so you only ever need one.  So the reward is not exactly useful. (unless you accidentally lose the one you made  =)

    I'm not sure if JadedCat noticed the switch.  They used to be consumable lock upgrades.  But they were kind of awful to deal with, so now you get a fancy key.

    Ok so i can see the recipes are in there for the storage drawers, they just don't show in NEI. Can anyone tell me how to make a drawer controller?

    If the recipe wasn't changed or made uncraftable (big assumption!), it's 3 stone on top, comparator / 2x1 drawer / comparator in middle, stone / diamond / stone on bottom.

    Um... Did I break something? D:

    This is in "boni intermediate" Nether after 1.0.30 update. I had to reinstall the pack becuase it kept saying it was backing up the old version, but meh, my old world was getting boring.

    Somebody help me, i dont want to move anymore ;w;

     Thats an issue with one of the mods freaking out and forgetting what its item registry is, it resets the whol list. :(

     How does a mod "forget" its item registry?

    1.0.30

    When looking in the north direction angled down compactchests turn translucent

     Edit:

    After playing on the new jaded map for a bit, i logged in to notice both compactchests were translucent, relogging fixed 1, relogging again fixed both

     Some mod is leaving the render state dirty, and compact chests is not making sure the render state is setup correctly prior to rendering.  This is totally dependent on the render order of entities and tile entities rendered as a special renderer, which is why it only happens when you look in certain directions and only to some of the blocks.

    If it's never affecting other TESR blocks like vanilla chests and signs, then I would put it on compact chests not setting itself up well enough.  But otherwise, it can be very annoying to track down the source.  It is going to be a block or entity that you already have placed into your world however.

    Not sure if Jaquadro is reading this forum. I put a "DrawerController" on my pipes, pending putting out some drawers to expand my storage a bit - and now the world is crashing continuously. I think that the DrawerController is being a bit over-vigourous in examining neighbouring IInventory blocks.

    Stacktrace (It's a stackoverflow): https://gist.github.com/cpw/d5cfbfedbfbc35fb7549

     As mentioned in my MCF post (and to anyone else who could encounter this problem):

    The drawer controller can be disabled in the mod config.  It will remove the block registration, so Forge will clean up the crashing block.  You'll just lose any controllers you made.  I'll look at this later today.

    Version: 1.1.2.0

    The nuggets that the Agricraft farm produces from metals like Iron, Ferrous and tin (Those the one I tested) are not the same one the Compacting Drawer changes the metals into. because of this I could not automate the farm to send them directly to the Drawer.

    Known Fix: Set up an autopackager to make the nuggets into ingots before getting into the Compacting Drawers

    Is it just turning one version of iron to another, or is it actually transmuting metals like iron -> tin?
