With optifine now being compatible with Forge without use of mods like Optiforge, it was time to make a new instructional video on installation procedure. Covers everything to install and use Forge through the vanilla launcher, where to get the files, and how to keep your Minecraft installations separate from each other for compatibility (and sanity :P) reasons.
Since informative Minecraft videos can be weirdly hard to track down, I try to make mine as "to the point" as possible, without wasting people's time or giving them incomplete information. Hope you can find it useful :)
I had trouble finding a video that clearly and quickly gave this information, so I decided to make one! Hopefully it helps somebody get to the point much quicker than it did for me. Enjoy it!
Could you give a bit more information about what your mod is before posting random links you expect people to click on? Not trying to be mean, but this is the Internet, and unfortunately you're surrounded by shady people.
Did it work before loading mods? It's highly recommended to start an empty Forge install once before starting any mods, lets Forge sort itself out a bit. If it is crashing after that, you might try removing all the mods then adding them one at a time to see which one is the culprit. You say you did this, but it shouldn't be "random." Either it'll work or it won't. Don't add more than 1 mod at a time, and start/exit each time.
Are you saying you load Forge with mods, it works, exit, reload the same exact thing, and it doesn't work?
