     Okay, I figured this out. Three things have happened first, open up the modpack folder, go in delete the .jar files that also appear in that override folder. Then through the curse forge app, install them into the modpack. ALSO, double-check in the folder to make sure no accidental duplicates OR out of date versions are there. I did these three things, and mine went away. 

    Any duplicates or outdated .Jar files do not show up as extra mods in the curse forge app. It is read as one mod.
