as far as i know, the modpack has been updated to fix this months ago. if you are still experiencing this issue (and you are sure it's the same one), here's a quick guide on how to update eiramoticons.
you need to find your instance folder. normally it's path is C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\Curse\Instances\PROFILENAME enter this folder. inside, there is a folder called "mods". open it, and you will find a file called EiraMoticons_[some numbers].jar. delete this file, then download the latest eiramoticns version from here (pay attention, you need a 1.7.10 version). put the file you downloaded in the mods folder and launch the game.
if you don't have the same error and/or this didn't work, please post you crashlog, thr "logs" folder in your instance folder.
not sure if that's part of the 1.7.10 version, too, but optifine is about to replace the shaders mod. you can use any shaders pack with optifine instead of the shaders mod.
if it's not, please post a log, it's usually marked if a file doesnt get loaded as a mod.
@Crimsongpc enter your instance folder, open the log folder, look into the file called "latest.log".
@Heinster67 somethings wrong with you install location. the error is caused by the double backslash in the beginning. not sure what you tried to do there.

not sure how that works inside the launcher, but i can tell you how to do it manually.
simply open your mods folder at "C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\Curse\Instances\PROFILENAME\mods" and delete/add the files you want.

that's uncommon o.o
you better submit this to https://support.curse.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

no error here - can you post the crash log, please?
(should be in "C:\Users\Cooldk\Documents\Curse\Instances\PROFILENAME\logs", named "latest.log")

try turning off connected textures (optifine).

either go deep into windows permissions (i cant help you there, being a linux user), or run it as admin.

@sopticjew caused by the latest nvidia gamready drivers (v378.49). see this thread for more info: https://minecraft.curseforge.com/forums/general/general-discussion/186029-project-ozone-2-launching-issue

download and install v376.33 from here:
http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/113533/de (windows 7+8)
http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/113444/en-us (windows 10)
ps: after installation, reboot to apply the changes.
if you still use v378.49 after the installation, deinstall the gameready driver you now have and then install the one you just downloaded.

make sure you don't use nvidia gameready driver version 378.49, it is known to crash minecraft like this.
