if you look up forge launcher ( not curse forge just forge ) you will get the latest version of the curse forge launcher which works with all mods listed on curse forge to my knowledge . Does not require any form of sign in and is the official curse forge mod launcher/installer for both client and server based mods . here is the link to the download ( has all versions of minecraft )

curse forge works in multiple parts and they do have a launcher made under the name Forge development link in the response to the creator of this post
