Ive been digging around on and off all day, but I can't seem to find a thorough description of how the Enchanted Item Glint texture actually functions- I'm specifically wondering for 1.8.9 and below, though the mechanics for the newer glint would be appreciated as well. I'd like to be able to give enchanted items more of a soft, pulsing glow, though I'm not sure if this would be possible.
