    posted a message on How to restrict players for a modpack

    Hello world, just have a question for those of you out there who may have an answer or have a similar question. I'm looking to revamp one of my older modpacks for a more co-hesive story. Only issue is I'm not sure how to restrict the player from using certain mods till they have unlocked either an achievement (I will be making a custom 'chieve for it) with redstone and a command block. Or by using on of the questing mods out there (i.e. HQM, Progression, etc.) Im not sure how to go about either.

     

    So I will be looking forward to your answers or comments

     

    P.s.

    Im looking to revamp the modpack to 1.7.10 but if a newer version of Minecraft is necessary to achieve this then I'll have to rebalance the pack.
