Well, given that Chisels and Bits doesn't exist for 1.8 according to Curseforge. And based on your errors, I can tell you with 100% certainty that you in fact installed a 1.12 mod in a 1.8 client.
Clicking the "View crash report" doesnt always work from the launcher when it crashes, what you can do is go the profile, go to the top right, click on the three dots and click open folder. From there you can navigate to the crash-logs folder and share it for us. Then we can properly help you.
Inverted Empathy is a modpack designed for players looking for something and anything to do. This modpack contains a large amount of mods, more than Revelation. It contains a plethora of magic and tech mods, and some few generation and exploration mods.
The endgame of this pack is meant to take some time to get to, and will be balanced around that fact in the future.
End game, mid game, and early game content is not in any shortage in this pack, if you can think of something, you can probably do it!
It's currently being balanced and being tested, but it's open to the public, just let me know of any issues you find, and I will work to resolve them, as well as if people want more mods, they can suggest them too. You can find the pack Here.
It looks like your description does contain the material, it may not meet the requirements due to how generic, and how on the surface the descriptions are? Try writing a little more thoroughly and see what that does. I wish you luck :)
Java 8 removed the PermSize feature, so if you have it set in your launch options, this warning will pop up, you can remove the PermSize safely and it should all launch correctly, assuming it's not launching already.
When looking through the crashlog, I seem to find the name "Neat" in there, I believe that is a client side only mod, remove it from the server, and try launching it then, if you get another crashlog, please post it here!
Hello, is this your actual crash report file, or is this the log in the console
About the more than one GB of ram. Try changing Xmx to something other than 1024M, for example 4096M, do not touch Xms. Try changing that memory amount and see how the crash does then.
And please provide with a pastebin link of the crash-report. This is hard to read for me.
Looks to be that advanced rocketry is using the same Dimension ID as another mod in the pack. Easiest fix is to go into the config file and change the dimension ID from -2 to something else.
Sorry for the late response, and hope you weren't waiting too terribly long for the response, or you fixed it on your own.

Remove the permsize argument. It was removed in 8.0. Learn to read.

Your crashlog is caused by TinkersToolLeveling, it looks to be a zombie holding a bow, or you killed a zombie with said bow.

Try removing the PermSize in the launch/settings bat file for PO2. Let's see if that fixes the issue, also, could we get a full crashlog too?
